Lishi TOY43 Usage Tips

• Use light to medium tension when working on these locks
• Door locks typically have 8 wafers, while ignition locks have the full 10 wafers
• When decoding the door lock, read wafers positions 3 to 10, then use Instacode or Xhorse to determine the first two depths
• Decode these locks in the same direction as the opening direction

Important Note

• Toyota TOY43 locks come in two types:
  • 8-cut lock
  • 10-cut lock
• Each type requires a different Lishi tool
• Using a 10-cut Lishi tool on an 8-cut lock may cause the tool to jam inside the cylinder
