Blank Key Profile
TOY43 Key Blade
- Double-sided edge cut mechanical key
- 10 cutting positions
- 4 possible cutting depths
- Depths are usually indicated by numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 (4 being the deepest)
- Can be opened and decoded using the Lishi TOY43 tool
Lishi TOY43 Usage Tips
- Use light to medium tension when working on these locks
- Door locks typically have 8 wafers, while ignition locks have the full 10 wafers
- When decoding the door lock, read wafers positions 3 to 10, then use Instacode or Xhorse to determine the first two depths
- Decode these locks in the same direction as the opening direction
Important Note
- Toyota TOY43 locks come in two types:
- 8-cut lock
- 10-cut lock
- Each type requires a different Lishi tool
- Using a 10-cut Lishi tool on an 8-cut lock may cause the tool to jam inside the cylinder
👉 Always make sure to select the correct Lishi tool for the specific lock type.
